Wherein we meet Aramis's ex-boyfriend.

Give up, ex-boyfriend. Aramis doesn't need you anymore. He's found new, better boyfriends who would never run off and desert him* (and the entire rest of the regiment).

Also, Constance deserves some kind of sainthood for putting up with these idiots, and the carved wooden ceiling in the room where de Tréville and the Cardinal were arguing about Savoy is probably the sexiest thing in the entire episode. Even sexier than angsty disheveled Aramis or last episode's injured, shirtless Porthos.

*Seanchai has pointed out that they're never gonna give him up or let him down, either.

Some of fandom seems to like Marsac, I think on basis that he's a Poor Man's Tom Hiddleston, but I could never forgive him. He left Aramis bleeding and alone in a pile of dead bodies. Like how did Aramis even get home?

They're really getting the most out of their Czech scenery porn, aren't they?

I've only got two episodes left, and then what am I going to do?

I believe I have seen more than one lovingly detailed h/c fic on the topic of the massacre at Savoy, and some fanart. Show Porthos is a giant Teddy Warrior!Peacock, instead of a giant Jerk Warrior!Peacock. The jerkishness generally has been toned down, really, which is almost a pity, except Teddy!Porthos is SOOOO CUTE! Yes he IS!
