Well, once again, the Trinity Church dinner has come and gone--my three hours of waiting, busing, and setting tables is over with for another year. Now I just need to get the smell of fried crab cakes out of my clothes.
Heads up to all the PotC people on my friendslist who haven't been keeping a weather eye out: we pirate people have finally come up on fanfic_hate (and so close to our fandom's birthday, too). Time to batten down the hatches and hope any resultant wank blows over quickly.

Considering the way the anime fandom seemed to turn on one another like rabid wolves in their thread, that's probably a good thing.
