On the plus side, the annotated bibliography for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein that I had to do for 19th Century Women Writers class is now done.
On the minus side, I had to skip Medieval Ideology class in order to accomplish this, and I've gotten about three hours of sleep in the last fourty-eight. Also, I think my annual winter chest cold is developing into bronchitis or something, causing me to channel the spirit of Doc Holliday and hack like a seal throughout every class (I'm not kidding, I swear to God, when I cough, it sounds like a seal barking--you know, that deep-in-your-lungs rough-edged kind of cough).
But at least the Frankenstein paper-thing is out of the way, giving me approximately 20 hours until my next assignment is due (Creative Writing, though, so if I get really screwed for time I can always edit the OT3-ness out of that meta-pirate ficlet and submit that).

I'm a wh0r for filk, so pretty much any clever re-tweaking of a musical makes me shriek with glee. And good filk added to the terrible Wrongness of Sands as a chorus girl is like crack.

Well, "My Favorite Things" is usually pretty amenable to filking. "I Have Confidence" might also work pretty well ("I have confidence in blackmail, I have confidence in threats, I have confidence I'm gonna make them sweat, besides which you see I have confidence in me!").
