It's been an entire year since I checked fallen leaves, AKA the only RPG in the world that's both readable as a regular narrative from an outsider perspective, and actually entertaining*, and there's so much new content, OMG.
Dozens of Ks of new fanon!rpg!Raidou and Genma to read! (thank you for hooking me on a semi-fanon version of two characters nobody else in the world ships, BTW, scarletspiral/fallenleaves) If I'm really lucky, there'll also be more mission-fic where Kakashi** gets the snot beaten out of him.
It's even more delicious than my other secret Naruto guilty pleasure of Kakashi/Sakura fic (apparently mentor/student fic doesn't inspire instant lack-of-caring-and-death-of-sexy in me if it's a) het and b) doesn't contain Mary "The author wanted to sleep with Sherlock Holmes when she was a teenager, and I've been forced to learn far more about that than I ever wanted to" Russell. I am still waiting for that epic Bruce/Babs fic set post her becoming Oracle, fandom).
*I suspect that fact that I've never actually watched Naruto and only read three volumes worth of it helps a lot in making it readable, because I've rarely met an RPG that didn't suffer from terminal characterization drift. Three volumes were all I needed to determine that Naruto/Sasuke is the obvious OTP of obvious for both characters, yet all but one Kakashi/Sakura writer seem blind to this indisputable fact and insist upon making their fic wall-to-wall het. On the other hand, that means they don't write uke!Naruto.
** Apparently, the slashy angst via eyeball-swapping/eyeloss thing is not unique to CLAMP.
