*bounces* for the first time in a couple of updates, I'm in a good mood. The business with Suntrust (here after known as Fuckmooks, Inc.) and my check card is still up in the air, but I called my parents and gave them my account number, so my Dad is going to go in and talk to the Fuckmooks, Inc. people and find out what they've done to my sodding card. So things are all right on that front.
My watch, which I had lost at the gym the other day, was waiting for me in the lost and found box when I went in, so I don't need to a) buy a new one, or b) admit to my parents that I almost lost a $200 dollar watch. So things are all right there.
And... *drumroll* I went to the UCC Christmas Carols service at the Honan Chapel tonight. Nothing puts me in a good mood like being able to sing hymns (especially Christmas and/or Easter hymns) at the top of my lungs. I almost started to cry out of sheer homesickness when they broke out a guiter for one of the songs, though.
Now I must decide whether to spend the evening doing research for my paper on Revolutionary activity in Ulster prior to the third Home Rule bill, or writing the PotC AU plotbunny that attached itself to my ankle today.
Or working out the outline for the longish Jack & Gibbs story I've got sort of vaguely sketched out. Thing is, since it's a story about one long sea voyage (around the Horn and back), it's essentially a roadtrip story. Well, the pirate equivalent of a roadtrip story, anyway. And I've never done a roadtrip story before, nor have I done Gibbs POV.
