1. I have now achieved one of my greatest fannish goals.

Alien invasion fic is now over 100,000 words long. I now have written something that's long enough for the maximum word-count category on ff.net.

It really makes me wish we didn't have Reasons for not posting the fic there, because I *so* want to have a fic in the very longest category.

2. Does anyone in Steve/Tony fandom who's going to comiccon want to meet up Friday/Saturday night?

Does happy dance at the thought of eventually reading massively long fic! Last night I got and read my copy of the graphic novel covering issues 21-31 of the New Avengers. It's at least partly your fault! Your fic helped suck me into the canon. Love, love, love all your Tony/Captain America hurt/comfort. However, is it wrong that after reading the latest I kinda dig Maria Hill? She rocked just a little bit. I have to say that Tony was nastier than I expected. The whole pretending that Cap was alive? To quote Spidery — "Wow."
