I've finally finished my article on Mid-Ohio for The Classic Motorcycle. Thank God it's finally over with. Now I only have the surfboard one left. *Makes face * I really hate journalism/nonfiction. I don't feel at all the same sort of pride over completing an article that I do over a poem or story, and it just doesn't inspire me. To use a somewhat dirty analogy, writing nonfiction is like being a prostitute, f*cking some stranger for money, while fiction (or fanfic) is like making love to someone you care about.
That said, I better go back to my fanfic and get cracking on the seventh chapter of A Pirate's Life, and probably the second chapter of "Both Sides" as well.

I can't wait to see if we can break those next to chapters ups
ANy way Poopyhead. You better call me... I've been trying to call your house for like three days and I can't get through. Are you away on vacation or do you not have an ansering machine?
Oh BTW. I may have a plotbunny that can fund our stupid, (Gambit Summers) plot) which may go back to word war II and Magneto.... I dunno. Something to deal with the origin of Cerebro and fighter pilots possibly... Call me.

Anyway, now that the "Gambit is really Scott and Jean's child from the future/an alternate universe" plot is threshed out, I will keep it in mind for writing once I've finished the PotC fic, "Both Sides," and the "Gambit is really Scott's younger brother, courtesy of Corsair Summers' one night stand with a New Orleans streetwalker" fic. The difficult part will be to keep the "Gambit is Scott & Jean's child from an AU" thing from becoming a parody. Because the concept would make such a good parody.
Saw PotC again. I swear, I'm buying it when it hits video.
