So, Ghostrider Friday night, Stardust Saturday night, Stargate last night, and Dr. Strange tonight. This has been a good movie weekend.
Also, we finished RR&R (all 200 pages of it -- sorry, it's the longest thing I've ever written and I can't say that enough), and then Marvel came out with this Alex Ross art, gorgeous and so very suggestive (especially since it's the header image for the Marvel website?). It's like a present from God for finishing our fic.
<[ETA] So, apparently, Marvel was taunting with cruelty. Though, considering how quickly they posted up what they're actually doing (stealing Alex Ross from DC to have him illustrate a limited run, out-of-mainline-continuity time-travel fanfic where the WWII-era Invaders fight the Defenders), I don't think it was intentional. I think they plastered Ross's pretty art all over their webpage, went home for the night, and then took another look at it the next morning and went "Oh, shit. Oops."
That said, I like the Invaders and love old school Steve and Bucky, so I'm still looking forward to it. Also, it may contain Namor fighting his time-travelled self, which would rock.
