Ha! Skrull! I knew somebody in Marvel was going to turn out to be a Skrull eventually.

why couldn't it have been Echo?

The big questions now, of course, are a) how long has Elektra been a skrull? b) what happened to the real Elektra? c) are there any Skrull in SHIELD/the government and did they have anything to do with Registration ("First, we will get them to eliminate their own superhero defences, and then, we will attack!"), and d) WTF is up with Luke & Jessica's baby (hereafter to be referred to as "Baozi" or "Meat Bun")?

Is Baozi a skrull? (a baby Skrull?) Is she manifesting meta powers already? Is she a demon? Is Bendis ever going to give her a name, or will seanchai and I be stuck referring to her as "Meat Bun" forever?

She looked more like the ideal Skrull candidate to me... I mean, her hability to imitate everyone is pretty Skrull-ish.

Anywhere else, there is a ongoing discussion about the skrull issue. Someone pointed that Becky is really a Skrull to infiltrate ye olde Nelson & Murdock firm, and other candidates proposed were the old man saved by Matt (just before becoming blind himself) and Porkchop Peterson (Foggy's bowling partner and Frat brother in Columbia).

I have myself added to the "Possible Skrulls list" baby ninja Karen, Sister maggie, post-Frank Miller Stick, Turk, Merv and Foggy's ex-wife Debbie Harris

I nominate Maria Hill for Iron Man's most-likely-to-be-a-skrull candidate. It would explain why she was actually competent in the latest issue -- the real impatient and trigger-happy Maria is either dead or tied up somewhere.

Lily the Perfume Pheromone lady could also be a Skrull, if Skrull powers can extend to mimicking scents as well as appearance. She and Becky can plot against Nelson & Murdock together.

Mmmh... If Dakota North joins Becky and Lily we have an explosive -and unbeatable- combination: legal knowledge, detective skills and irressistible Mojo!. Matt and Foggy seem lost! ... Until they suddenly reveal that they are super-powered clones of themselves and beat the skrulls silly (the real Matt and Foggy being on vacation in Bermuda, along with Sir Wilfrid Robarts ;D )

Maybe Deuce the Devil Dog was a Skrull, too (and Weasel doesn't know!)
