According to NPR, there have been at least 54 people killed in Mississippi, and the entire city of Biloxi is flooded--plus the entire city of New Orleans, after the levee holding back Lake Pontchartrain broke open. This is easily the worst hurricaine in decades, worse than Isabel two years ago, possibly worse than Agnes and Camille. It's going to take Mississippi forever to rebuild after all this; they're just about the poorest state in the Union already.

Thank God they evacuated New Orleans--I don't want to think about how high the death toll would have been if the whole city had been trapped there.

Have any of the otaku heard from Amy and Seshirou lately? Are they at Hollins yet, or trapped in Alabama and Louisiana?

Seishirou stayed with Fuuma in Hampton, they're back at Hollins.

I'm almost certain that Amy stayed the whole summer at Hollins, as she was working.

Sorry, yeah neither left the state for more than a week all summer. And as far as I know everyone they love, etc. is accounted for. Except for Aimeedora's cousin, Katrina. *the irony is killing me*
