Thank you to everybody who recced me PotC gen. I've got more than enough stories to choose from now.

I'm still stuck for an evil-villain-in-the-Yukon scheme, though. I think it's because all attempts on my part to come up with a Klondike villain end up with me picturing Snidely Whiplash. Who would be entertaining, but not a serious threat to anyone smarter than Dudley Do-Right (which is just about everyone, including his horse).

OK, a couple of things:

1. Don't laugh at Dudley, for he is A Good Man.

2. The author claims this is Will/Elizabeth, and it is, but I swear it's OT3 too, she just doesn't know it: At Sunset. It is g-rated, however, and may be appropriate for your mom's class.

3. Wrote you birthday fic, two weeks late.

I like him too, it's just that Horse is my favourite (also, while Snidely and Dudley maybe good adversaries, I don't think Snidely would give the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen much trouble).

Ooooh! Must go read now.

Wait, where do I find it? *was so eager to read she forgot to ask*

Yeah, well, I'm enough of an idiot to forget to link to it.

And it may get expanded over the next few days, because Sands is. just. that. cool. So keep a weather eye open.
