Yay Michael Phelps and Erik Vendt! Yay gold and silver medals and breaking the world record!
Also, yay me, for I have made a Mexico vid. And verily, it doth suck. In fact, if I'm ever able to upload it (geocities won't let you upload anything larger than 5MB, and the vid is just under 7MB) it will probably be the suckiest vid on the internet, due in no small part to the fact that I taught myself how to rip DVD footage and use Windows Movie Maker as I was making it. Goals for next time (if I ever make another one): Learn how to avoid getting those dark horizontal lines on the footage. Learn how to use transitions. Use fewer long clips.
So, if anyone wishes to see my pathetic attempt at a vid, leave a comment with your email address and I'll send it to you. [Edit} That is, I'll send it when I get back to Hollins. Two hours worth of effort has proven that you can't upload anything off of my parents' dial-up connection.
