*squishes you* When I realized Fee/Pippa was canon I was literally talking to the book. "Omg, omg, omg. It's canon! OMG!" I really love that series, because all the characters seem so human. None of them are quite as heroic, or as pure as we might like. I think that obviates some of the hinkiness of Pippa's going (kind of) evil, and Felicity's own dabbling. Because of course Ann and Gemma herself are tempted too, and there are times where you're not quite sure who's one what side. Gosh, I need to reread this series and write craploads of essays on it, because there are problematic bits, but also so many good ones. At this point I can point to some of those problems, but I don't feel confident making complete judgments of them.
I love that my OT4 (Gemma/Kartik, Felicity/Pippa) is canonical! Only Y: The Last Man rivals it for OT4 awesomeness.
