Everyone needs to go see Leatherheads right now. George Clooney and Renee Zellwiger (sp?) in 1920s clothing, with snappy, fast-paced witty banter that sounds just like something out of an old Howard Hawks movie, and a soundtrack composed almost entirely of 1920s jazz.
Plus, Clooney's character, Dodge, and his rival-in-football-and-romance Carter "the Bullet" Rutherford exchange so many significant looks (in addition to the general homoerotic touching endemic to football) that I'm already composing the slash vid in my head.
...I have decided that the Captain America movie needs to have a soundtrack composed entirely of 30s jazz and 40s swing, and that Steve and Sharon need to do the Grant/Hepburn banter thing.
