Arg! I got so caught up in work and housecleaning that I totally missed Talk Like a Pirate Day.
On the other hand, I'm probably going to dress as a pirate (actually, I'll be dressing as Mael-the-one-eyed-smuggler, from my English thesis, but he looks like a pirate) when I help chaperone the Spring Ridge Middle School Halloween dance, so maybe that will make up for it.
Also,that crime show with Angel in it Bones comes on tonight, so I get to have my second night in a row watching BtVS actors in strangely vampire-free settings (since Xander Nicholas Brendan is in Kitchen Confidential on Monday nights). Happily, both the show with Xander in and the show with Angel in are based on books my mom likes, so I've got an excuse to watch them without my family noticing my fangilness too much.
