Once again, I'm about to leave the internet for a week to go on vacation, this time to Virginia Beach to spend a week there with my family. There will be arguments, simmering resentments that surface once again, sunburns, and I'm going to get beat all to hell trying to use my Dad's nine-and-a-half-foot longboard. It's going to be great fun.
Any of y'all ever seen "Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood?" Um, yeah. My extended family's a bit like that, but with more adolescent boys plus one uncle who's currently an involuntary guest of the state of Virginia (he won't be at the beach this year. Everyone is secretly relieved).
Oh, and I'll get to watch anime with my 12-year-old cousins, who think I'm a goddess because I have all of Trigun on DVD.
