Am now in sunny Ireland, getting ready to go out in search of a bookstore where i can purchase my textbooks. I'm sharing an appartment with four other American students (one of whom is also named Liz, so I'm going by Elspeth) and the very first thing we did Thursday night (right after I'd arrived) was go and see Pirates of the Caribbean. I have good feelings about these flatmates.

Good things about Ireland:
Church is only 20-30 minutes long.
Good bread.
Milk is cheap.
Beautiful scenery.
Raisin & Biscuit Yorkies (damn good candybars)

Bad things about Ireland:
Church is short becasue there are no hymns *sniffle*
All food other than milk is way expensive.
The cold air hurts my throat when I run.
The shower in our apparment has a defective hot water heater.
Cadbury's Turkish Delight chocolate bars (I swear to God, the filling tastes like perfume. It's the weirdest thing. We all tried them because we'd wondered what the hell turkish delight was ever since reading 'The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe' and now we know--it sucks).

My laptop still is not here *wails at the unfairness of life* I want MS Word!!! I need MS Word!!!!
