Well, I have completed the first chapter of my PotC fic, and am most of the way through the second, which consists mostly of Elizabeth and Jack almost having a romantic moment and then Elizabeth and Will actually having a romantic moment.

I also went to see Les Miserables performed by the local high-schol age community theater group Sunday night. It was great, and the costumes and sets were very professional. *sighs happily* I love that musical. I think it's my favourite musical of all (though it's really morelike an opera as far as stroyline goes. Actually, it is an opera, technically, as there's pretty much no unsung dialogue). Grantaire is so in love with Enjoras. Even though the teenage actors din't really play it slashy, the basic staging of the play rather implies it anyway. As does the book. Unrequited Grantaire/Enjolras was one of the first slash subtexts I ever picked up on in a novel.

Well, I've now finished the second chapter of "A Pirate's Life," not to mentioned gotten my second-to-last motorcycle article ready to mail off. I think this is the first tiem I've written any het romantical stuff without my sister hanging over my shoulder going "This is softcore porn. Porno, porno!" Even though it never is--I've read soft core porn, and my stuff doesn't compare.

Now I have to start on chapter three, where Mary Rose the Tragic Widow returns to the storyline and weeps all over Norrington. ("The evil pirate killed my husband! Get him! Make him sorry!")

In other news, I may get to spend a day or so at Otakon! Whoohoo! I can blow my motorcyle checks on djs and cosplay as Gluhen Schuldig, if I die my hair red again, as I've realized that I can assemble the entire costume from my closet.
