Cleaning Out My Closet

The time has once again come--my inability to stand living in filth has finally overcome my inante laziness, and I have cleaned my room. No, I mean really cleaned, not just done my laundry and stacked the books into neater piles. I actually trecked across campus to borrow my friend's vacuum cleaner, and unable to continue living with my filthy rug but too short on change to wash it, settled for the old-fashioned expedient of going outside, hanging it over a railing, and whaling on it with a broom handle until tired (i.e. for about three minutes, during which a half-dozen people stopped an dstared at me). I've also gottten my pictures from Katzucon developed, and will have a couple here as soon as I post them up.

I have also discovered that I'm *fanfare* Yohji's eyes. Actually, in real life I'm Schu's eyes (sort of an indeterminate light colour), but I'll settle for his.

Behold, Fanfic Poetry!

It's finally happened, I've descended to writing poetry based on Harry Potter (actually, there was that Snape-inspired alchemy poem last year, but that could stand on its own without knowledge of its source). Behold, the ghetto sonnet about Remus:

( I wake to feel the moon's pull in my blood )

Obviously, my new tactic to keep myself from talking too much in Hitler, Churchill, Stalin seminar is working--I keep relatively silent and pen angst in iambic pentameter instead. Speaking of which, I have drawn the conclusion that the reason iambic pentameter is so popular is that it can be counted out on one's fingers.
