I'll like it more if sexuality becomes more like it is in Torchwood (Dr.Who spin off), sex is sex and love is love (goodtimes when it's both). Men, women, tentacle monster, whatever. Go at it or just play checkers. I have a guy friend who I feel sexual attraction for, and vice versa, but we've both agree, albeit at different times, that we don't go together that way, and that's cool.
I think homophobia, along with fear of friends of opposite gender (or your spouse having them), is that some people don't get that you don't have to do everything you are inclined towards, though if you do, it's alright as long as no harm it's done. It's like they are too lazy to think about temperance so they have to find some per-written rules and quote it.
