Ooh! I just stumbled across this, and it is seriously one of the best ficlets I've read in a while. I LOVED the twist at the end, as well as the lead-up. It was really perfectly executed.
Tony and Steve are amazing. Still the same characters, but with that hint of added *something* that a really good AU brings.
Tony's eyes traveled slowly over Steve's half-clad form, and he felt the tingling feeling spring to life across his skin again. "That's not all I want."
I had to point that passage out specifically because it is beautiful and made my brain short-circuit.
