I got to go see Pirates of the Caribbean again! *dances about in fangirlish glee * My Dad hadn't seen it yet, so I went with him. I enjoyed it just as much the second time, though, of course, some of the gags (like the sinking boat) had lost the element of surprise. They were still funny, though. And this time I was able to pay closer attention to body language and all of those little details and nuances of personal interaction. Especially between Jack and Will, since I was already interested in that. Anyway, I now feel more secure writing these people in my fanfic.

*grins * Even my Dad (who is so not into slash in any form) recognized the inherent OT3-ness of the film. His comment at the end: "I find it hard to believe that the British guy would just let Jack go and that the governor would let Will marry Elizabeth after everything he'd done. All three of them should have jumped off the wall together."

In other news, my article in Flat Track Illustrated has come out, and I got a whole page! It was the first article in the magazine, too! I think I may be beginning to make a name for myself in the vintage dirt track world (though, granted, it's not a very big world). Also, I raked up all of the grotesquely large amount of grass my Dad mowed down yesterday. We have a big lawn. I gave myself blisters. Still, it was kind of fun. A bit of manual labour now and again never killed anyone.
