The scenes with the New Avengers all end up being about twice as long as they were supposed to be, mostly because Spiderman is adorableness incarnate.
This is a man who has made some mistakes, but usually for the right reasons, and whose guilt and self-sacrificial tendencies make him absolutely impossible to hate.
*nods* One of the things I love about Tony is his ends-justify-the-means attitude, and the fact that he's willing to do the wrong thing for the right reasons -- and then suffers agoinies of guilt over it. It's the fact that he feels sincere remorse for all of his fuck-ups (even the ones he'd do over again) that makes it possible to forgive him for them. You can't dislike someone when you're bleeding for them.
