Death as a trickster figure was an interesting aspect of Gambit!Death that Marvel didn't explore (space constraints, maybe? Or maybe just that they're not that deep). Gambit says at one point (after announcing that Apocalypse's plan is stupid) that Death always tells the truth, but that doesn't fit with every interpretation of Death, especially not with the Baron Samedi one that I wanted to reference here.
