Yay, thanks! The bit about Bruce's hands being fighter's hands was actually the idea that spawned the entire fic -- Tony almost but not actually figuring things out because he recognizes what the calluses and scars mean.

I think there's probably more than a little Toonverse!Bruce mixed in there. The Bruce-in-my-head draws from almost everywhere except the two Nolan movies (toonverse, the comics, the Tim Burton movies... all over the place.). It's funny, because I was thinking after the discussion upthread over Batman characterization with hohaiyee that I had a little more Frank Miller influence in my impression of Batman than she did. I guess the toonverse balances out the Frank Miller (though I could always go back and add in a couple of half-naked prostitutes with katanas, just to give it that signature Frank Miller touch).
