I never actually read The Ship Who Sang, but I think I read a couple of the ones in the same universe (and am still hoping for a DCU Elseworlds wherein Babs does the same with a space station called the Clocktower. Dinah can be the cyborged-up public face of the administrators). Tony's a remarkably good fit, having the health-problem-alleviated-by-tech element conveniently built in and all.

(I so totally love that Thor still talks like Thor even when he is Thor In The Year 3000. It makes me want to read AUs in the French Revolution or the Australian outback or something where Thor is still saying "Verily" and nobody else thinks anything of it.)
