There's just such good unrequited love angst in here! Even though they both have a hint that maybe it's not unrequited, they still eat their hearts out over each other.

*grins happily* Unrequited love that's actually requited (with both halves of the pairing silently angsting after each other) is a guilty pleasure of mine, like characters being Terribly Misjudged. Because then, after all of that lovely angst, you get the big reveal, and the shippy happiness (or the part where Everyone Feels Sorry For How They Treated X).
