Oh my goodness this chapter is dizzying. Lol you did a great job of showing rather than telling all that's on Tony's plate at the moment, bombarding us with it all at once and then breaking it down piece by piece. Also, showing Tony as competent but really, on his last legs, and utterly miserable. It's kind of scary to think that this is basically the shape of Tony in current canon, with no break in sight. :\

AND Bucky and Steve. The Steve took it, and they clasped hands for a long moment, leaning toward one another until their shoulders brushed made me smile like a huge dork.

That last image, Tony racing all out toward the doomed Helicarrier, stayed in my mind a long while after finishing this the first time. Oh Tones :C
