Back in college, Foggy had discovered that you could tell a lot about Matt's general state of mind from the way he slept. Now, years later, Foggy had discovered that when Matt's state of mind was set at "emotionally vulnerable", that usually meant that he would wrap his arms around Foggy while they slept. Which was good, except that Matt put his cold feet on Foggy, too.

"Matt," grunted Foggy into his pillow. "Wake up, Matt."

In response, Matt mumbled something and kissed Foggy's neck. He considered trying to drop off to sleep again, but then Matt's foot touched his leg, and the chill jolted him and made him wriggle. "MATT!"
